1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sidhpura’s Institute of Commerce mobile app (the “App”), operated by Sidhpura’s Institute of Commerce (“we”, “us”, “the Institute”).
By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App. These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Who Can Use the App
- Students enrolled with the Institute, using the student area.
- Parents / Guardians linked to a student, using the guardian area.
You may only use the App if the Institute has enrolled you or set up your account.
3. Accounts
- Accounts are created and deleted by the Institute. You cannot self-register.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details and PIN private.
- Don’t share your account or let others use it.
- Tell the Institute promptly if you think someone else has access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Use it for anything unlawful or against these Terms.
- Try to access another person’s account or data.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the App.
- Copy, resell, or misuse the App or its content.
We may suspend or close your access if you break these rules.
5. Content and Ownership
- All content in the App — schedules, materials, results, notices, and the App itself — belongs to the Institute or its licensors.
- It is provided for your personal, educational use only.
- You may not copy, share, or distribute it without our permission.
6. Notifications
The App may send you notifications — for example, when a student is marked absent, and for lecture updates and student quarterly reports. You can turn notifications off in your Profile or device settings.
7. Availability
- We aim to keep the App available and accurate, but we don’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
- Some information (such as attendance or results) depends on data entered by the Institute and may be updated or corrected.
8. Disclaimer and Liability
- The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll notify you in the App. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
